"KITHULGALA" - Rani Kavadi

Those slight curvy paths , with extremely clear roads and the green trees !No doubt , it Is taking us to kithulgala. KITULGALA, the place of beauty ! indeed !  After a 3 hr journey from columbo, you step down the bus to sense the smell of the green leaves and the fresh river water. It's now time for your branded sports shoes to cross the narrow path ways with long plants on either sides, to survive the slippery rocks , to cross the river, to escape the most dangerous leeches! It's ok if yuh are bitten by one , you can carry the scar back as a memory !:p

After a point ,The trip gets adventurous here ....cos the bare foot is going to experience it all - trying hard for the grip inspite of pricking rocks , and stumbling dangerous walkways yuh reach the peak point with the live jackets and helmets to start with the very first feat ! The kelani river has very dynamic locations that are used for many activities  such as small feet jump - jumping into plunge pools , the river sliding - laying straight parallel to rapid flows and sliding down , confident jumps - jumping into river . Each feat will take yuh high into the air and will dip yuh deep into water ! Giving that  thrill of adventure for an entire hour !

The team spirit needed activity is the River rafting . A group of 8 starts on the raft with paddles. Hearing the directions and managing the flow of the boat in the disturbed rapid flow is going to give your hands a tough time ,while legs can rest for a while ! "Hard forward, Hard backward, Hold rope..etc takes you through  the hard rapids , stucked up rocks , and leaves you finally in the calm solace.The green trees , the blue sky , the boat , the artful caves , the still water , makes your moment worth remembering ! Yuh experience more great time if  it drizzles and the river  side restraunts add up to your moment with the local music and dancing drums !
