"How I Felt GLOBAL VILLAGE 2018" - Rani Kavadi

1000 people , many countries and a single floor! Yes ! The place of diversity having unity is
GLOBAL VILLAGE 2018. The story of this event starts from those last minute dance preparations , hush and rush ,setting costumes , packing up those traditional foods got from home , early morning traditional clothes set up, Holding national flag and running to bus !

This is an event every one is very much excited about ! Global village 2018 was set up at so and so college with more than so and so number of countries putting up the stalls with their traditional food and flying their flags high.

One takes privilege to introduce their countries food to the peers of the other countries and the well dressed one ( in traditional outfit ) shines out the most ,as foreigners approach them for clicks. All that they have to do is stand , set the hair and pose for the click ! well not just one you need to do for hundreds.

It's beyond fun as you get to know the tastes of various items from different countries , while you also get to see the culture and dances of the other countries . The performances in various teams get to show their talents singing melodious songs and mesmerising the crowd or dancing the rock and roll to make the crowd jump! It's miscellaneous - different countries, different languages, different voices, different emotions, different music , different moves.
The best performance will be gifted with a big chocolate cake ! How do I know that it was a "BIG CHOCOLATE CAKE"?? .....Cos we (BE SRILANKA 2.0) won it and I say that's just a way to make our team leader proud .

At last there is a long DJ dance ....where everyone dances to the rhythm clapping their hands , moving the bodies ! Laughing and singing! when one finally gets home , all that they see is a gallery full of pictures, checklist of snacks, and hand full of memories 💖
